The American Violin
In 2006, “The American Violin: From Jefferson to Jazz,” was presented by the American Federation of Violin and Bow Makers and the Library of Congress. This exhibit resulted in the photographing of a large number of American instruments and bows. This important material is now published in a new book The American Violin. Christopher Germain is a co-auther of the book. Click the image and follow the link to learn more and order a copy.
This really is a thoroughly well-thought-out, beautifully produced and authoritative volume, and a pleasure from cover to cover. John Dilworth, The Strad, August 2016
